Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion exchange device capable of sufficiently reducing bacterial count in a pressure tank accommodating an ion exchange resin bed.SOLUTION: There is provided an ion exchange device 1 having a pressure tank 2 accommodating an ion exchange resin bed 211, circulation means 3 having a water treatment mode for manufacturing treatment water W2 by introducing raw water W1 into the pressure tank 2 and a cleaning mode for cleaning the ion exchange resin bed 211 with continuously or intermittently generating upward flow in the pressure tank 2 by introducing a cleaning liquid W1 into the pressure tank 2 and a circulation controlling means 10 controlling the circulation means 3 to switch each modes based on predetermined mode transitional conditions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
