A handbag-like case 1 is formed for storing the iron inside from an upper opening part, wherein at least surfaces of a lower inner wall 4 and a bottom 3 of the case 1 are composed of a heat-resistant sheet, and a pad 10 for ironing having a heat-resistant face on the surface is stored on the bottom so as to be inserted in and removed from the case 1. A flap part 8 is preferably provided on an upper part of the opening part of the case.
