PURPOSE: To improve the convenience for use on a work top.
CONSTITUTION: A sink 6 is provided on a work top 5, and a hot plate 7 is provided on a lower range upper surface. The boundary portion between the work top 5 and the hot plate 7 is protruded to the hot plate 7 side as it is positioned in the front portion, and a drawer 9 is provided in the rising surface of the protruding portion. The cooking unit is constructed so that a chopping- block is placed on the work top, a vessel is placed on the lower range top surface, and after vegetables or the like are cut on the chopping-block, they are slid to be easily put in the vessel. A comparatively large space is formed on this side portion of the upper surface of the work top, so that the cooking work space can be increased. Furthermore, as the drawer is provided on the side surface of the protruding portion of the work top, if seasonings or the like are put in the drawer, the seasonings can quickly be taken out at the time of a cooking work using a hot plate so as to be convenient for use.
