Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage containing bifidobacteria/lactic acid bacteria, oligosaccharides, and glucomannan dietary fibers for improving an intestinal flora to adjust an intestinal environment in which: the beverage is a packed beverage such as a PET bottle which is easily obtainable from convenience stores and vending machines.SOLUTION: A beverage containing bifidobacteria/lactic acid bacteria is made by charging konjac flour and water into a container, heating the content with stirring up to boiling point to make soup-like konjac paste, then cooling it, and adding bifidobacteria/lactic acid bacteria, skim-milk powder, and oligosaccharide into it, and lactic acid fermenting it at the temperature suitable for bifidobacteria/lactic acid bacteria.SELECTED DRAWING: None
