Abstract:
To obtain a laminated glass which is easily made large in size, prevents uneven darkening because the thickness of a photochromic layer is made uniform and can also be used as the front glass of an automobile.
In this laminated glass obtd. by bonding two sheets of glass by way of a middle layer, the joining face of at least one of the two sheets is coated with (a) a fluid contg. an org. photochromic compd., (b) a fluid prepd. by mixing a fluid contg. an org. photochromic compd. with a coating agent or (c) a fluid prepd. by dispersing photochromic glass powder or powder of an org. photochromic compd. in a coating agent.
