Abstract:
To apply uniform tightening force with a simplified method in a land grid array (LGA) assembly employing a compressive load.
The land grid array (LGA) employing a compressive load comprises a first component disposed on an upper portion of the LGA assembly, a central load screw inserted into the first component, and a second component, the central load screw being received on the second component upon its being turned in a first direction. When the central load component is further turned in the first direction after the central load screw is received on the second component, the first component is operated to apply a compressive load on one or a plurality of the components of the LGA assembly.
