Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a laser equipment wherein the deformation of the cavity is controlled and the chamber is easy to maintain and inspect.
CONSTITUTION: The laser equipment is so constituted that a laser resonator is secured on plates 6a and 6b which are fixed by a plurality of invar rods 21, 22 and 24, with a laser chamber 10 in-between, independently of the chamber 10. The two plates are provided with bearings 4, 5 and 9 which supports the invar rods with the laser chamber inbetween. Also, a means is provided for sliding the invar rod bearings on at least one of the two plates in the direction of the optical axis of laser. In addition, the laser chamber 10 is provided with moving rollers and guide rollers so that it is guided and slid on rails in the direction almost perpendicular to the axis of laser.
