To attain reduction in loss by improving crystallinity in laser annealing of a ceramic dielectric, to avoid the increase of loss caused by the conductor of an inductor and further to provide a high-yield, miniaturized and low-loss LC filter, a miniaturized chip-type element using this LC filter and a miniaturized low-cost high frequency corresponding module with packaged chip mounted on it.
A laser-reflecting layer is provided for more selectively heating ceramics at laser annealing. Moreover, the inductor is located so as not to be overlapped with a capacitor electrode or ground layer in the direction of magnetic flux. By providing such an LC filter with an external terminal, a higher yield, further miniaturized and lower loss chip-type element as compared to the conventional type can be provided and further by packaging the chip in the module for dealing with high frequency, the miniaturized low-cost module can be provided.
