PURPOSE: To bind a small bundle group crosswise by winding a tape only one time around the small bundle group by a method wherein a tape is wound around a small bundle group only once by a table means and clamp means, and the tape is tied by a fastening means.
CONSTITUTION: A tape 46 is wound only once around a small bundle group of which the longitudinal direction is made horizontal, by a table means and clamp means, and the tape is heat-bonded by a fastening means 5, and then, the tape is cut to bind the small bundle group. Then, the small bundle group is raised from the table means and turned, and the attitude of the small bundle group is changed so that the longitudinal direction of which may become vertical, and then, the small bundle group is moved to the table means again. Then, the tape 46 is wound only once around the small bundle group by the table means and clamp means, and the tape is heat-bonded by the fastening means 5, and is cut to tie the small bundle group. By this method, the small bundle group can be bound crosswise by winding the tape around the small bundle group only once.
