PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel which can reduce the number of detection units.SOLUTION: A lens barrel 20 has a barrel member 22 that moves, in an optical axis OA direction, an operation member 24 disposed on the outer periphery of the barrel member 22 and rotatable around the optical axis OA, and one detection unit 30, 31, 32, and 33 for detecting the drive of the barrel member 22 and the rotation of the operation member 24.
