Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a seedling feeder in a transplanter ensuring seedlings to be packed on a seedling box basis, designed to set many seedling boxes at a time, leading to saving labors for replenishing seedling boxes as well as improving working efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: The objective seedling feeder is equipped with (A) a seedling box conveying section 14 so designed that seedling boxes are conveyed from above downward along a specified route, and at an appropriate position along the conveying route, seedling are extruded from these seedling boxed, (B) a seedling box guide section 12 formed above the section 14 and designed to guide in a specified direction the seedling boxes suspended nearly vertically from a hanger, and (C) a seedling box delivery section 13 designed to deliver the seedling boxes brought above the section 14 by the section 12 to the seedling box conveying section 14.
