PURPOSE: To obtain an indoor skiing place lift device with excellent conveying capacity without requiring large installation area.

CONSTITUTION: This lift device is formed of a conveyor means 1, provided with plural chairs 3 for skiers to sit on, for conveying the skiers from down to up on the skid face 1A of an indoor skiing place, and a driving means 15 for circulating the conveyor means 1 in the endless state along the inclined direction of the skid face 1A. The chairs 3 of the conveyor means 1 face the proceeding direction of the conveyor means 1 at the time of the skiers getting on the conveyor means 1, then face the direction orthogonal to the proceeding direction of the conveyor means 1 at the time of the conveyor means 1 moving to the inclined part of the skid face 1A, and face again the proceeding direction of the conveyor means 1 at the time of the skiers getting off the conveyor means 1.
