To provide a light quantity adjusting system which can adjust light quantity.SOLUTION: A light quantity adjustment system 1 according to the present invention includes a light quantity adjusting unit 2 for adjusting a light quantity to a room by opening and closing an opening unit 111 of a building 10, and a control unit 5 for controlling the opening and closing operation of the light quantity adjusting unit 2 so that if the light quantity adjusting unit 2 is in its opened state, the light quantity adjusting unit 2 is driven from its opened state to its closed state at a speed slower than an ordinary opening and closing speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
