Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve display unevenness in a lateral stripes pattern by controlling the number of pulses of a horizontal synchronizing signal independently of a signal source. SOLUTION: The number of pulses of the horizontal synchronizing signal inputted from the signal source 9 by the number of optional pulses are controlled by a horizontal synchronizing signal control means 5. When a polarity inversion period of a liquid crystal panel 4 is specified, a pixel distortion occurs in a specified scanning line. Then, the number of horizontal synchronizing signals are controlled by the horizontal synchronizing signal control means 5 so that the position of the scanning line having the distortion decided by the number of pulses of the horizontal synchronizing signal imparted through a liquid crystal drive control circuit 1 and the polarity inversion period is shifted large at every frame. Thus, an image signal of a CRT simultaneous display specification is displayed on the liquid crystal panel 4 without distortion.
