Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long body supporting device and supporting method capable of surely supporting a long body at a predetermined position of a supporting shaft.SOLUTION: A long body supporting device 20 for supporting a long body RS wound so as to have a hole CH in the center includes: a supporting shaft 21 for supporting the long body RS by being inserted into the hole CH; and discriminating means 23 for discriminating that the long body RS is supported at a predetermined position of the supporting shaft 21. The discrimination means 23 includes: an abutting member 23A to which the long body RS to be inserted into the support shaft 21 abuts directly or indirectly; and detection means 23C for detecting the position of the abutting member 23A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
