PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long size material carrier for intermittently carrying long size materials of different width in the width direction.
SOLUTION: The long size material carrier comprises a feed unit 4a to perform the rectangular operation of feeding, returning and elevating/lowering by synchronizing a first feed member 42 having a first feed supporting part 44 and a second feed member 43 having a second feed supporting part 45, and a holding unit 4b to perform elevating/lowering by synchronizing a first holding member 52 having a first hold supporting part 54 and a second holding member 53 having a second hold supporting part 55, and long size materials are intermittently carried by the feed unit 4a and the holding unit 4b. Long size materials of different width are intermittently carried in the width direction by changing the space between the first feed supporting part 45 and the second feed supporting part 45 by moving only one of the first feed member 42 and the second feed member 43, and changing the space between the first holding support part 54 and the second holding support part 55 by moving only one of the first holding member 52 and the second holding member 53.
