PURPOSE: To obtain a lubricant composition having excellent low-wearing disposition, retaining the sustainability of such low-wearing disposition over a long period, excellent in frictional characteristics and heat resistance, thus suitably usable as a lubricating oil for internal combustion engines, automatic speed change gears, bumpers or power steering (esp. for internal combustion engines).
CONSTITUTION: This composition is obtained by incorporating a lubricant base oil with a mixture of 100-50wt.% of oxymolybdenum sulfide dithiocarbamate, zinc dialkyldithiophosphate and calcium alkylsalicylate and 0-50wt.% of magnesium alkylsalicylate. Based on the whole weight of the composition, the molybdenum derived from the oxymolybdenum sulfide dithiocarbamate stands at 200-1000ppm, the phosphorus derived from the zinc dialkyldithiophosphate 0.04-0.15wt.%, and a total of the calcium alkylsalicylate and magnesium alkylsalicylate 1-10wt.%.
