Abstract:
PURPOSE: To train both the lower and upper muscles by providing a lower training device with a spring-adding shunk for pedal and having an additional training unit for training the reversible upper body. CONSTITUTION: A single wheel training unit 12 is attached to a lower section 14 of a frame 10 for training the lower muscle group. A 2nd single wheel training unit 11 is attached to upright vertical sections 13 and 13' for training the upper muscle group. A shunk 18 for supporting pedals 19 is provided at the terminal part of a shaft 17. The respective single wheel training units 12 and 11 respectively have adjustable rotational resistance units 20 and 21 and attached to the frame proximately to the respective rotational resistance unit wheels 15, and a wheel 15 or a rim 22 are positively braked. The shunk 18 strengthens training applied to an operator while changing its length in each pedal cycle.
