Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce high frequency power source and reduce the cost of equipment.
CONSTITUTION: An induction coil 1 is replaceably fitted onto a vessel whose plan crosssection is variable, and the induction coil 1 is connected to a transformer 3 having a tap 2. The transformer 3 and a capacitor 4 are connected in parallel to each other, and these are connected in parallel to a high frequency power source 6 through a switch 5. When a product has a circular crosssection, an induction coil following the number of turns (m) and the conductor width (w) per coil turn determined by the following expressions (1) (2) according to the plan crosssectional (a) of the vessel or the connecting number (n) of induction coils changed by a machining schedule is selected. m=α.(n/a)...(1), w=β.(1/m)...(2), α, β:constant.
