Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic heat quantity element and a thermomagnetic cycle device that are apt to generate a continuous temperature gradient between a plurality of blocks.SOLUTION: A mixing part M12 is provided at an adjacency part between a first block 61 and a second block 62. At the mixing part M12, a first material forming the first block 61 and a second material forming the second block 62 are arranged in a mixed state. At the mixing part M12, the first material and second material exhibit magnetic heat quantity effects. The first material and second material assist in generating the magnetic heat quantity effects unidirectionally or bidirectionally. Therefore, connection between the magnetic heat quantity effect of the first material and the magnetic heat quantity effect of the second material is improved through mechanical arrangement of the first material and second material. Further, the magnetic heat quantity effects of the first material and second material are allowed to deviate from target values even in such a case, and a continuous temperature gradient can be generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
