Abstract:
To provide a magnetic field generating device which can miniaturize a cooling container.SOLUTION: A magnetic field generating device 1 of this invention, comprises: an iron core 2; a pair of superconducting coils 3; and one or a pair of vacuum insulation container 4. The iron core includes: a yoke 21 of an approximately C-character shape or an approximately U-character shape; and a pair of division iron core parts 22 which is structured separately from the yoke, is positioned in an inner side of the yoke, and is oppositely arranged via an operation space each other. In each division iron core part, each superconducting coil is wound along a peripheral direction where a shaft line parallel to a direction where both of the pair of division iron core parts is opposite is a center. A division iron core coil assembly 5 formed by each division iron core part and the superconducting coil wound to each division iron core part is housed in one or the pair of vacuum insulation containers. The yoke is arranged at the outside of one or the pair of vacuum insulation containers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
