Title:
MAGNETIC LEVITATION TYPE ROLLING STOCK TRUCK CONTROL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3383114
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To constantly provide an optimum vehicle condition by controlling each superconductive magnet to move the center of an on-vehicle superconductive magnet to the position lower than the null flux on the ground side coil in advance at the time of wheel running when a railway vehicle is shifted from wheel running to magnetic levitation running and to return it to the original position after it is switched over to levitation running.
CONSTITUTION: Normally, the central position of an on-vehicle superconductive magnet 8 and the position of the null flux of a ground side coil are adjusted to conform to each other so that magnetic drag may not be developed during wheel running. Running speed obtained by a transmission unit 1 is observed during wheel running and a superconductive magnet elevation control unit 3 is gradually moved so that it may come in a position lower than that of the null flux by a hydraulic motor 5 in accordance with the command of a running resistance regulation unit 2 at a point of time when it has approached the target speed of switching over to leviation running. The supporting wheels are then lifted to the body side by a supporting wheel moving motor 11 and switched over to levitation running. When it can be switched over to the leviation running, the superconductive magnet is returned to its position by synchronizing it with the lifting of the supporting wheels.
