Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open type magnetostatic field generator which properly arranges a gradient magnetic field coil and a magnetic field correcting means.
SOLUTION: Superconductive magnets 1 are vertically arranged while facing with a uniform magnetic field area 2 inbetween and generate vertical magnetic fields in the uniform magnetic field area 2. A cooling container 6 for super conductive magnets 1 is held by two struts while keeping a prescribed interval, and a section having no strut in the uniform magnetic field area 2 forms an opened space. Between the superconductive magnet 1 and the uniform magnetic field area 2, a disk-shaped gradient magnetic field coil 15 and a disk-shaped magnetic field correcting means 24 are arranged. The gradient magnetic field coil 15 is composed of a main coil 22 and a shield coil 23 parallelly arranged while keeping an interval, and the main coil 22 between both the coils is arranged proximately to the uniform magnetic field area 2. The magnetic field correcting means 24 is arranged between the main coil and the shield coil 23.
