Abstract:
To provide a maintenance support device, a maintenance support method, and a computer program for generating guide information that allows an image forming device to be appropriately maintained.SOLUTION: In a maintenance system 1, a maintenance support device 400 has a control unit and a communication unit. The control unit acquires work information that records a failure that occurred in an image forming device 100 and work details for the failure, and records guide information in a storage device that other guide information is stored when the work information indicates that the image forming device has recovered from the failure because of the work. The guide information indicates the work details and is referred to by a maintainer for the image forming device. The communication unit transmits the guide information stored in the storage device to a terminal device when a guidance information request that the terminal device used by the maintainer sends is received or when the guidance information is stored in the storage device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
