Abstract:
To form a uniform oxide film by anodizing the surface of a porous sinter made of metal having valve action in a compound liquid to which a surfactant is added while periodically applying ultrasonic wave.
A phosphoric acid water solution to which polyoxyethylene of about 0.01wt.% as surfactant is added is used as a compound liquid. The liquid is anodized while periodically applying ultrasonic wave to form an oxide film on the surface of a porous sinter made of metal having valve action. The surfactant may be any surfactant which can improve the wettability of the liquid. The operating time and off time of the applied wave are decided by the amount of bubble generated at the time of anodizing. Thus, a uniform oxide film can be formed.
