Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make both transmission shafts selectable to an input shaft, by tilting these two parallel transmission shafts to an output shaft, symmetrizing them vertically on a clutch shaft, and engaging a cylindrical gear of this clutch shaft with each conical gear of these transmission shafts, then projecting them to the opposite side of the output shaft. CONSTITUTION:In the case where a lower transmission shaft 29 out of two upper and lower transmission shafts is set down to an input shaft and a lower side transmission shaft 33 to a power takeoff shaft, respectively, power is transmitted of the lower side transmission shaft 29 from a connecting shaft 49, and further transmitted to an output shaft 2 from an input gear 25 engaging a conical gear 30 via a forward clutch shaft 13. And, this power is transmitted to a propeller 44 from an output shaft coupling 5 through a propeller shaft 42. On the other hand, a part of the power transmitted to the forward clutch shaft 13 is transmitted to the upper side transmission shaft 33 via a conical gear 34 of the other side, driving an auxiliary machine 50 as auxiliary power. Next, in the case where the upper side transmission shaft 33 is used for the input shaft and the lower side transmission shaft 29 for the power takeoff shaft, respectively, the auxiliary power in a horizontal direction is taken out of the lower side transmission shaft 29, and both transmission shafts are selectable as the input shaft, thus an engine setup according to form of the hull is performable.
