To provide a mat for bedding excellent in air permeability, cushioning properties, shape retention properties and body washing properties and is recoverable and reusable.
This mat is a sheet like mass composed of a non-elastic polyester staple fiber as a matrix. This staple fiber mass contains elastic conjugated fibers comprising a thermoplastic polyester elastomer having melting point 40°C ≤ lower than the melting point of polyester composing the staple fiber and a non-elastic polyester. This conjugated filaments contains the former at least exposed on the surface of the fiber and is added and mixed to the staple fiber mass and integrated by the fusion of the thermoplastic elastomer. The structure has the thickness of 3-35mm and the density: 0.01-0.15g/cm3 and is a sheet like cushion structure [A] or a laminated structure having laminated cloth [B] at least one side of [A].
