To obtain a medicine composition capable of exhibiting excellent effects, reducing a dose and alleviating adverse effect, comprising a compound having angiotensin II antagonism and a compound having an action mechanism except that of angiotensin II antagonism.
This medicine is obtained by combining a compound of the formula (R1 is H or a substitutable hydrocarbon residue; R2 is carboxyl which can be esterified; R3 is an anion forming group, etc.; X is phenylene directly bonded to phenylene or bonded through phenylene; (n) is 1 or 2; the ring A is as shown for R2 or a benzene ring which may be substituted; Y is a direct bond, O, etc.) having angiotensin II antagonism or its salt as an active ingredient with at least one of a compound having enhancing action on insulin sensitivity, a compound having improving action on hyperglycemia of diabetic after meal, an indane derivative having inhibitory action on an enzyme capable of converting angiotensin, a pyridine derivative having inhibitory action on HMG- GoA reductase and their salts. The medicine is effective useful for arterial hypertension as a complication of arteriosclerosis and hypertension.
