Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal fixture that can connect steel pipes easily and can be folded at the connection.
SOLUTION: A collar 12 having a diameter nearly equal to those of pipes to be connected is fitted into the center of a shaft 11 of a prescribed length having a diameter large enough to be inserted into the pipes. And then a guide hole 13 is provided, penetrating the collar 12 and a connecting pipe 11, through holes 15 corresponding to the fastening hole of the pipe is provided in the connecting pipe 11 on both sides of the guide hole 13, the guide rod 17 of a approximately three-pronged fastening rod 16 is inserted into the guide hole 13, the fastening sections 18 of the fastening rod 16 is matched with the through holes 15. A spring 19 that urges the fastening sections 18 into the through holes 15 is provided in the guide rod 17, connecting members 24 that hold the pipes fastened when the connecting pipe 11 is pulled out from the pipes, is attached to both sides of the connecting pipe 11.
