To provide a rolling device that can be disposed only by slightly reforming a working roller chock without requiring large-scale reformation of a housing including a project block, can constantly measure an elastic warp acting on the working roller chock correctly even with variations in the thickness of a plate to be rolled, and can simply and accurately convert the elastic warp into force in a rolling direction, and achieve highly-accurate meandering and camber control, warp control, zero point adjustment based on the force in the rolling direction, and to provide a rolling method.
The rolling device including at least an upper and lower pair of a working roller and a reinforcement roller is provided with: a warping measurement means for measuring elastic warps in a rolling direction that are generated in a roller chock on a working side and a roller chock on a driven side of the working roller; and a warp reduction means for converting the measured elastic warps into force in the rolling direction. There is also provided a rolling method performed using the device.
