The method includes the steps of: machining a raw material 6a into a wire material 6b; cleaning the material 6b, which is provided in a later stage of the machining step: and drying the material for removing a cleaning liquid 14 attached on the material 6b, which is provided in the later stage of the cleaning step. The cleaning step includes a step of bringing the material 6b into contact with the liquid 14 containing microbubbles 23, and the drying step includes a gas-blowing step in which a gas is blown to the material 6b to remove the liquid 14.
