Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce unsteady state in continuous casting and to improve operational ratio.
CONSTITUTION: In a mold 1 for continuously casting a steel, a dummy bar head 2 is fitted and a jig 2b with claw is fitted as fittable/detachable to the head and the claw part is inserted in a cast slab as cast-in. The jig 2b with claw has a hook part 26 engaged as fittable/detachable to a hook part 2a in the dummy bar head 2 and plural claw parts 25 inserted into tip part of the cast slab as cast-in.
