Abstract:

PURPOSE: To distribute a feed material with precision and to regulate optionally the layer thickness ratio by feeding a raw material into a furnace while moving or moving and stopping a raw material distributing plate of a device for controlling the distribution of the material fed to a blast furnace.

CONSTITUTION: A raw material feeder such as a big bell 2 and a feed material distributing device (movable armor 3) are synchronized in a blast furnace, and the movable armor 3 is moved or moved and stopped, when the raw material is fed into the blast furnace. For example, when the raw material is charged while moving the movable armor 3 backward, the movable armor 3 is moved forward to a set point and stopped before the charge is started. Then the movable armor 3 is moved backward to a shelter position when a set time elapses after a big bell-opening command is given. At this time, the distribution is controlled by a movable armor set point, the time from the time when the big bell-opening command is given to the time when the backward movement of the armor is started, the velocity of the backward movement of the movable armor, etc.
