Title:
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE AND SYSTEM COMPRISING INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE AND CONTROL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2017166491
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable adaption control to be carried out more often, so that a possible temporal drift in the behavior of an injection valve or the valve needle of the injection valve can be recognized at an early stage and be readjusted consistently.SOLUTION: A method for controlling an internal combustion engine is provided which is characterized in that - in a first internal combustion engine calibration operating mode, a calibration-actuation control of a first injection valve is implemented such that the motion state and/or the position of a first valve needle is detected and at the same time, the actuation control of a second injection valve is implemented such that a predetermined target fuel amount is injected, or - in a second internal combustion engine calibration operating mode, a calibration-actuation control of the second injection valve is implemented such that at least the motion state and/or the position of the second valve needle is detected and at the same time, actuation control of the first injection valve is implemented such that a predetermined target fuel amount is injected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
