PURPOSE: To eliminate timing loss, to reduce the cycle of a molding line and to improve working efficiency by correcting and calculating the time for closing a clamping device and the time for opening said device in accordance with the delayed time and actuating the clamping device.
CONSTITUTION: The clamping device operation signal (a), under-molding signal (b) and under-mold conveyance signal (c) outputted from a control panel 1 for a molding machine are inputted to an arithmetic unit 2. The unit 2 determines such opening and closing timings for the clamping device at which the the clamping device is opened and closed in synchronization with the operation of the molding machine and at which the opening and closing ratio of the clamping device is made at a predetermined ratio by arithmetic processing then said unit outputs a clamp closing signal (d) to a clamping control panel 3. The panel 3 outputs a clam close signal (d) to solenoid valves 4AW4D to open these valves. Then the compressed air from a compressed air source 5 expands clamp actuators 7AW7D to prevent the expansion of a casting mold 8. The mold 8 after pouring is clamped by the clamping device 9 and at the same time the mold 8 is conveyed by a conveyor at the timing when clamping plates 6a and 6b part from the mold 8.
