Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a method of measuring super-conductor's characteristics and to provide a characteristics measurement device for a super-conductor in order to evaluate the characteristics of a super-conductor required when designing/manufacturing a super-conduction application device.
SOLUTION: Above a disk-like fixing part 4 which can represent super-conduction state, a disk-like magnetism generation movable part 9 is made to face it with a gap G, and, relating to electromagnetic force characteristics acting between the fixed part 4 and the magnetism generation movable part 9 with the gap length in between, at the initial position where the magnetism generation movable part 9 is so receded from the fixing part 4 that the magnetic field of the magnetism generation movable part 9 does not affect the fixing part 4, the fixing part 4 is initialized to super- conduction state from non-super-conduction state, and, after the magnetism generation movable part 9 is made to approach, while avoiding it contacts to the fixing part 4, its near by specified position in the vertical direction, at constant speed, it is kept standstill for a specified period, then, at constant speed, receded from the fixing part 4 up to the initial position, for measuring approach-recession characteristics of electromagnetic force.
