The method for driving the PDP includes a step of dividing the screen to two or more blocks and a step of performing addressing in the second block after performing addressing in the first block, wherein the time difference between the addressing start of the first block and the addressing start of the second block is set at a range greater than 0 and smaller than 5 ms.
