To provide a method and a device for increasing the treatment amount of a sand pump for slime treatment which can quickly discharge slime accumulated on a hole bottom by a simple means.
On the ground 1, a slime treatment machine 5 is connected to the lower part of the sand pump 4, and the bottom of a first feed pipe 6 is connected to the upper part of the sand pump. The upper part of the first feed pipe is connected to the lower part of an auxiliary sand pump 7 which is identical to the sand pump, and the lower part of a second feed pipe 8 is connected to the upper part of the auxiliary sand pump. The upper part of the second feed pipe is connected to a receiving vessel (not shown). The sand pump, the slime removing machine, the first feed pipe, the auxiliary sand pump, the second feed pipe connected as above are inserted from the upper part of a surface layer casing 3 toward the lower part of an excavated hole 2 in the direction of an arrow. Since both the sand pump and the auxiliary sand pump are used, a slime treatment time is almost halved.
