To automatically generate a program for inspection for easily executing the inspection of a control program.
The program for inspecting the control program of an inspection object is automatically generated by changing the state of signals at prescribed timing through following processing steps. The program is converted into data for displaying the time chart of a graph showing the time change of a signal (data) to be referred to/defined by the control program of the inspection object or to be defined as the state of controlled system equipment. On the time chart displayed on a display device, a signal for applying the timing of state change selectively inputted through an input device by a user and a signal showing the state change or state value, delay time after condition establishment and state change to apply the timing concerning each inputted signal the read. Based on the read data, the prescribed part of a model program is replaced and the program for inspection is generated.
