Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for direct sowing on a flooded paddy field using a paddy rice plant seed fixed sheet, having solved such a problem that, in a sowing method such as a conventional sowing of seed rice directly in a paddy, sowing in a fixed sowing depth is difficult due to nonuniformity of hardness of soil in tilling a rice field in preparation for sowing the seed rice and undesirable establishment or lodging occurs.
SOLUTION: This method for direct sowing comprises providing a water-soluble or water-dispersible sheetlike substrate 1 with an adhesive 3 layer in a linear or dotted state, sticking and fixing paddy rice plant seeds 2 to the adhesive 3 layer, coating the sheetlike substrate 1 with a water-soluble polymer film 4 to form a paddy rice plant seed fixed sheet A retaining the paddy rice plant seeds 2, loading the paddy rice plant seed fixed sheet A on a sheet feeder 8 of a working machine, successively cutting out a fixed amount of the paddy rice seed fixed sheet A by a planting tine B equipped with a cutting blade 6 and sowing the sheet in soil at a fixed depth.
