To provide a method for discharging a slag of a waste melting furnace capable of suppressing solidification of molten slag by cooling near a slag hole by discharging most of a low temperature gas of steam or the like generated from a cooling means in the degree of no exhaust gas of a burner for heating the hole and no exhaust gas from a molten place at an exhaust port provided between the hole and the cooling means and reducing an external energy for heating the vicinity of the hole and a waste melting furnace.
One or more exhaust ports 12 for exhausting a low temperature gas from a cooling means 3 are provided between a slag hole 1 for exhausting a molten slag 2 and a cooling means 3, and most of the gas from the means 3 is exhausted in the degree of drawing no exhaust gas from a molten place.
