Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a main three-dimensional map together with a sub image containing a guiding route which is out of view because of being concealed by buildings or natural objects on the land.
SOLUTION: In the method, the guiding route GR which appears after turning an intersection, is checked whether it is concealed by the building AC, and in the case the guiding route is concealed by the building, the three-dimensional map is displayed together with the sub image containing a car position, the building and the concealed route when the car gets close to the intersection.
