Title:
METHOD OF ESTIMATING BIOMEDICAL SIGNAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3738392
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of estimating a biological signal by which an accurate average waveform for a single heartbeat of the biomedical signal.
SOLUTION: Segmented waveforms (a1), (a2) and (a3) of each single heartbeat are prepared from the measured waveform (a) of the biomedical signal (step 101). The segmented waveforms are corrected so that the end points of the segmented waveforms are at the same level to make a corrected waveform (b). The corrected waveform is extended or reduced according to the feature of the biomedical signal and so as to match with the length of a fixed length average template to prepare an extended and reduced waveform (c). The extended or reduced waveform is added to a length average template waveform (d) before being updated to create an updated length average template waveform (e) (step 103). The updated length average template waveform is extended or reduced according to the feature of the biomedical signal and so as to match with an average heart rate to prepare an average waveform (f) for a single heartbeat (step 104).
