The method of insert molding comprises interiorly forming a cavity C inside a molding die by combining a second molding die 63 to a first molding die 61 while an insert pin 33 is fixed to a holding hole 61c formed in the first molding die 61, and feeding a molten molding material into the cavity C wherein the molten molding material is allowed to flow into the cavity C while the holding hole 61c is closed with a step plane 33e by faying the step plane 33e formed on the insert pin 33 to an opening plane 61b of the holding hole 61c, whereby a product molded by the method of insert molding has a structure having no flash at the root of an exposed part 33d of the insert pin 33 (i.e. a protruding part 33d of the insert pin 33 from a molded member 31) so as to dispense with a process for removing the flash.
