To provide a method for inspecting blow-hole in a continuous casting which can discriminate whether or not the blow-hole exists in a cast slab before obtaining a product by rolling the cast slab cast in one unit of a ladle and can remarkably enhance a yield of the product.
In the method for inspecting the blow-hole, in the case of performing the continuous casting by introducing molten steel 12 flowing out from a tundish 20 into a mold 26 for continuous casting and passing through the mold while solidifying, the cast slab 40 drawn out from the mold 26 is cut off in a necessary length to the inspection and also, the cut-off cast slab 40 is cooled, and it is judged whether the blow-hole in the cast slab 40 exists or not, by scarfing this cooled cast slab 40.
