Abstract:

To provide a method of manufacturing a negative electrode plate for a lithium ion secondary battery, which is excellent in discharging rate characteristics, output and input characteristics, and initial charge and discharge efficiency.

The method of manufacturing the negative electrode plate for the lithium ion secondary battery includes: an active material layer formation step of forming a negative active material layer containing negative active material particles and a metallic oxide as a binding material, on a current collector; and a reduction step of performing reduction treatment of the metallic oxide contained in the active material layer formed in the active material layer formation step.
