Title:
METHOD OF MOLDING ANTISLIP SHOE SOLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01254102
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily and inexpensively produce the shoe sole having an excellent antislip property and durability by making hard fibers mingled in the projections which are integral with the shoe sole oriented in the direction nearly perpendicular to the surface in contact with the ground so that the fibers are exposed on the bases of the projections.

CONSTITUTION: A raw sheet 2 of unvulcanized rubber into which hard fibers 21 such as glass fibers are incorporated is set on a shoe sole molding 1 which has many independent projection molding recesses 11 provided with inflow holes 12 penetrating to the rear face. Such sheet is pressurized under heating, by which the rubber and the fibers are packed partly into the recesses 11 to mold projections 31 integrally with the shoe sole 3 while some of them are admitted also into the holes 12. The bottom parts of the projections 31 are then buffed with a grinder, etc., to expose hard fibers 21 on the bases 310 of the projections 31. The shoe sole having an excellent antislip property and durability is inexpensively produced with such a simple method.
