Abstract:

To provide a traction converter circuit for connecting to a DC voltage network.

The method for operating a traction converter circuit for connecting to a DC voltage network 1 is prescribed. Here, a traction converter circuit has a network converter 2, a transformer 4 having a primary winding 5 and a secondary winding 6, and a converter unit 7. The network converter 2 is connected to DC voltage circuit 3 at DC voltage side, and the DC voltage circuit 3 can be switched to the DC voltage network 1, and the network converter 2 is connected to the primary winding 5 of the transformer 4 at AC voltage side. The converter unit 7 is connected to the secondary winding 6 of the transformer 4 at AC voltage side. The network converter 2 is controlled by a predeterminable network converter control signal SN for setting AC voltage UG of the network converter.
