Abstract:
To provide a method for economically and advantageously producing an uracil compound represented by a general formula [V].
This method for producing an uracil compound represented by a general formula [V] [wherein R1 is a 1-5C perfluoroalkyl group; Q is an aromatic group] comprises reacting an amide compound represented by a general formula [II] or a hydrate of the above amide compound with a cyanate at 55°C to 150°C in the presence of a protonic acid.
