Abstract:
To provide a method for producing ammonia borane by a simple operation by using usually inexpensively acquirable one as a solvent as it is without using an anhydrous reaction condition.
In this method for producing ammonia borane by reacting sodium borohydride with an acid or an ammonium salt, a mixed solvent acquired by adding 10-30 wt.% concentrated ammonia water into a reaction solvent of tetrahydrofuran is used.
